AHF, now a member of WHO Consultative Network on Autism, met with world leaders, experts, scientists, families, doctors and advocates and discussed the pressing need for international collaboration in addressing ASDs and other developmental disorders. WHO Autism Resolution EB133/4; Annex 3, urges the WHO Secretariat to collaborate with Member States and partner agencies in order to strengthen national capacities to address ASDs & other developmental disorders. Three key objectives of the consultation meeting: a) promote sharing of best practices and innovative solutions for strengthening capacities in countries; b) identify priorities for research and action; c) promote the establishment of a global network.
