Where information comes from

Directory records may be assembled from public websites and other public information, structured data sources, and information submitted by organizations. Details can be incomplete or become outdated. Confirm services, credentials, licensing, insurance, eligibility, cost, accessibility, and availability directly with the organization or relevant agency.

Claims and source-review labels

Providers can start a listing claim through the provider dashboard. Claims are reviewed before public listing information is changed. The site does not publish a complete description of the evidence used in every claim review, so a claim status should not be treated as proof of clinical quality, professional credentials, licensing, insurance acceptance, or service outcomes.

A “Source reviewed” label means the listing has source-review metadata and a source link recorded. A date appears when a review date is available. This label describes a source check only; it is not an endorsement or a guarantee that all listing details remain current.

Paid placement

Paid Featured listings are labeled “Paid placement.” Paid placement can affect where a listing appears in directory results. It reflects a paid visibility arrangement, not service quality or endorsement. Standard and highlighted listings do not receive that paid-placement label.

Corrections and removal requests

To correct or request removal of a listing, send its URL, the organization name, the requested change, and a reliable source when available through our corrections page. We review material changes before updating public information.
