Accessibility Statement
Commitment to Digital Inclusion
Our Commitment
AutismHearts is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We are continually improving the user experience for everyone and applying the relevant accessibility standards. Given our specific mission to support the neurodivergent community, accessibility is not just a legal requirement for us—it is a core value.
Conformance Status
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA.
AutismHearts is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard, though we are actively working to resolve these gaps.
Specific Accessibility Features
Cognitive Accessibility
We prioritize clear, plain language, consistent navigation, and "Low Crowding" UI design.
Visual Standards
We aim for high color contrast ratios and avoid flashing content to support users with sensory sensitivities.
Keyboard Navigation
Interactive elements are designed to be focusable and navigable without a mouse.
